‘morninglory no.1’ is a large, hand-stitched, punch needle rug hooking piece, traditional (tufted) side forward. The face of a large morning glory flower rendered in purples and pinks is rendered on a large scale, putting the viewer in direct and impactful relationship with the bloom.
